Safety Response Initiated

Today, at approximately 12:26 PM, our district implemented a lockout procedure as a precautionary measure in response to a potential safety issue in the community. Calipatria High School, Fremont Primary, and Bill Young Middle School were asked to implement a safety procedure for the duration of the afternoon, immediately after lunch to the end of the school day. We increased our staff presence outside and limited out of classroom movement.

We will continue to complete our regular school day and release at the regular school site release time.

We want to ensure the safety of your children. We know that our safety procedures are one way to do our part in keeping them safe. We will continue to work closely with our local law enforcement to maintain vigilance for any potential safety issues in our community.

Please reach out to your child’s principal or call me at 760-455-3998 should you have any questions or concerns.
