Interdistrict Transfer
Requests to Enroll Student into the Calipatria Unified School District
Students who reside outside of the Calipatria Unified School District shall request an Interdistrict transfer petition to be considered for enrollment.
Annual enrollment priority window for submission of the petition is Feb 1 to April 15
Petitions submitted after April 15th will be considered and based upon available space and the reason for transfer request listed on the interdistrict petition
Petition must include the following:
Interdistrict Form 1
Interdistrict Form 2
Proof of residency
Proof of employment (if requesting as reason for transfer request)
Incomplete forms will not be accepted
Petitions must be submitted to the Calipatria Unified School District Office,
501 West Main Street, Calipatria, CA 92233
Student must be released from district of residency before attending any of the Calipatria USD schools
NEW--All interdistrict transfer students will be required to submit and comply with the
CONDITIONS FOR INTERDISTRICT ATTENDANCE
ATTENDANCE, ACADEMIC, AND BEHAVIOR CONTRACT
The contract will be provided to all approved interdistrict petitions and is required to be signed and submitted within 10 days of approval.
Request to Transfer out of the Calipatria Unified School District
Request to Transfer out of the Calipatria Unified School District
Students who reside within the Calipatria Unified School District boundaries and would like to attend a school outside of the district boundaries shall request an Interdistrict transfer petition.
Requests for Interdistrict transfers begin on February 1st for the following school year
Please complete Interdistrict Form 1 and provide proof of residency
Petitions must be submitted to the Calipatria Unified School District Office,

Calipatria Unified School District will only process the Interdistrict Transfer Form--Parent will be responsible to ensure compliance with additional requirements of the intended requested district.
