CUSD announces Mr. Eduardo Vega as the Principal of Calipatria High School. Mr. Vega brings many years of experience as member of our school faculty, coaching staff, and school community leader. We look forward to his new role as our site administrator and the continued support he will provide to our students, staff, and school community.

The 23-24 School Accountability Report Cards (SARC) are posted on the district website under About Us and in this announcement. Hard copies are available upon request in the Superintendent's Office or School Site Office.

Calipatria USD will be adhering to the the CIF Heat Illness Prevention and Heat Acclimatization Policies as per California State Assembly Bill AB 1653 and CIF Bylaw 503.K. Parents, athletes, and staff are encouraged to review the guidance and take appropriate action during outdoor activities.
The district has a link on the calipatriahornets.org to assist staff, students, parents, and our school community with monitoring outdoor activities. Click the Weather Forecast WBGT on the main website.

Calipatria USD has established the Workplace Violence Prevention Plan. The plan will become part of the ongoing safe working environment supports provided within the district. The plan is posted to the district website under Employee Notices and Handbook in the Human Resources Department.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Imperial County SELPA Executive Board hereby gives notice that a Public Hearing will be held on June 20, 2024 at 7:30 am
On, or before June 30th of each fiscal year per EC Section 56205, all SELPAs must complete and submit an Annual Budget Plan (Section D of the CDE SELPA Local Governance Plan) and Annual Services Plan (Section E of the CDE SELPA Local Governance Plan) to CDE for consideration of approval. Each component of the Governance and Administration Plan, Annual Budget Plan and the Annual Services Plan for our SELPA has been completed, along with the corresponding attachments. This hearing is open to the public. The governing board encourages participation regarding whether each pupil has been provided with a Standard Aligned Textbook or Basic Instructional Material.

The 2025-2026 proposed district budget and LCAP will be presented for public input at the upcoming June 9, 2025 Regular scheduled board meeting. Adoption will be finalized at the subsequent regular scheduled board meeting for June 23, 2025.
